TODAY: The Giving Day Challenge
24 hours. Infinite possibilities. With your support, we will see increased access and innovation in our Milton Academy community. From powerful educational opportunities to enriching arts and athletics programming, the possibilities are endless.
A gift today makes a positive impact by helping our students learn, grow, and become the leaders we know they can be.
When we reach 1,000 donors by 11:59 p.m. ET TODAY, Milton Fund Chair Tom '92 and Kulin Reardon P '26 will give $100K to the Milton Fund. Your support, along with their generous challenge gift to the Milton Fund, will create infinite possibilities for our students, faculty, and staff.
Increase Your Impact
Your support opens the door to more possibilities, and this yearโs microchallenges offer more ways to help your gift to go further.
You can also challenge fellow classmates, match donors to a particular cause, or match anyone who simply makes a gift at a particular hour! Get creative and find ways to multiply the possibilities at Milton this Giving Day!
Once you've made your gift, advocate for Giving Day on your social media channels to bring even more possibilities to the Milton community TODAY!
Microchallenges
In addition to the three cause-based microchallenges, DEIJ, Financial Aid, and Student Experience, you can also participate in affiliation-based microchallenges. Select all of your Milton affiliation(s) on the giving form and automatically count towards one or more of the following affiliation-based microchallenges:
*New in 2023!* China & Hong Kong Regional Microchallenge
When 20 Milton community members residing in mainland China or Hong Kong make a gift to Milton on March 9, Hendrick and Sylvia Sin P '23 '25 will give $12.5K to the Milton Fund. And if we can get to 40 donors on March 9, our challengers will give a total of $25K to the Milton Fund!
*New in 2023!* Boarding Community Microchallenge
Any gift made on March 9 to the Boarding Community microchallenge will be matched up to $100 per gift for a total of $10K to the Milton Fund by Goodwin House alumna Freddy Gamble '58. Make your gift in honor of your current or former house, or that of your child who is a boarder, by selecting a house from the drop-down on the giving form.
Faculty & Staff Microchallenge (all current Milton faculty and staff members)
When 100 current faculty and staff make a gift to Milton on March 9, our challengers Laura P. Appell-Warren '78 and John C. Warren P '04 '07 will give $7.5K to the Milton Fund. And if we can get to 200 faculty and staff donors on March 9, our challengers will give a total of $15K to the Milton Fund!
Parents Microchallenge (all current Milton parents)
When 100 current Milton parents make a gift to Milton on March 9, David and Noel Cappillo P '20 '24 '26 will give $25K to the Milton Fund. And if we can get to 200 parent donors on March 9, our challengers will give a total of $50K to the Milton Fund!
Senior Gift (all Class of 2023 students)
As part of the Senior Gift Challenge, all gifts made by seniors to the Milton Fund on Giving Day will count towards the Class of 2023's 50% participation goal. As voted on by the class, if the seniors meet their goal by the last day of classes, a generous anonymous challenger will give $10K to the Financial Aid designation within the Milton Fund.
Young Miltonians Challenge (all Milton graduates from the Classes of 2008โ2022)
When 100 young alumni make a gift to Milton on March 9, a generous anonymous Giving Day challenger will give $10K to the Milton Fund. And if we can get to 200 young alumni donors on March 9, the same challenger will give a total of $20K to the Milton Fund!
25th Reunion Gift Challenge (all Milton graduates from the Class of 1998)
Any gift made on March 9 by Milton graduates from the Class of 1998 will be matched dollar-per-dollar up to $15K by a generous anonymous challenger.
Please note that the affiliation-based microchallenges are not designation specific. So when you make your gift, you can also choose to make your gift to any one of the designation-driven microchallenges listed above to amplify the impact of your gift even further!
